This is from Natalie Goldberg's <Writing Down the Bones>.

It's a classic book on writing. Free writing. A book that helped me feel structure and freedom through writing.

6 Ways to Write Freely: Advice from a Bestselling Author

This is about the First Thoughts, which the author emphasizes first in her other books as well.

1. Keep your hand moving.

Don't stop to reread what you've just written. It will make you hesitate to control what you are writing.

Don't stop your hand. For just 10 minutes, believe in your first thoughts and write them down without stopping your hand. Increase your concentration time through practice. Don't hesitate to reread what you have written. Keep writing.

2. Don't erase.

Don't edit. Even if it doesn't match your intention, keep going.

Don't edit while writing. Instead of crossing out lines or pressing backspace, move forward. Even if you are writing something different from your intention, keep going.

3. Don't be concerned about spelling.

Don't be concerned about grammar. Don't be bound by margins or lines, just write.

Don't be bound by spelling, punctuation, or any other rules. Don't be constrained by margins or lines. Since it's been a long time since the book was published, some parts are guided based on writing on paper.

Whether it's paper or an editor, don't be bound by anything other than writing, just write.

4. Don't control yourself.

Don't control anything. Let go without controlling it. You will reach a state where you feel free at some point.

5. Don't think. Don't try to be logical.

Stop thinking and entrust it to your hand. Reach a state where your hand moves not through your brain. You will feel free at some point. Give up the desire to write your flying thoughts logically and just run. You will fly someday.

6. Pierce the core. Go into the blood vessels.

Even if you are afraid or feel naked, dive deeper. There will be energy there.

Don't stop even if you are afraid of being exposed or feel the shame of being naked. Don't hesitate to decorate your outer clothes or to devise other intentions. Dive into the wriggling blood vessels.

Write with blood. Go into the blood vessels that follow the rhythm of your heartbeat and express yourself as you are.

That will make you you and original.

Nietzsche said he only believes in writing written with blood. We must write with blood. We have decided to write as intensely as blood.

Blood. It's not easily erased. Blood. It's not trifled with. Blood. It makes you feel sincere.

Letting writing written with blood run wild makes you feel free.

I dare to write and want to be happy.

The words 'cultivation' and 'spiritual practice' are really fitting.

I feel freedom and happiness.

Even a petty person feels a warm energy. I get reassurance that I am expanding my capacity.

Let's live together in a beautiful world. We~~!!

I support your challenge.

Just keep going
